BASO Gas Products is introducing our BGF Series Hi/Lo (Two Stage) solenoid operated gas valve which has a selectable group of bypass seats available for lo fire. Dependent, on the configuration of the gas valve the lo fire flow capacity can range anywhere from 10,000 to 70,000 BTU/hr. at 1 inch pressure drop. The lo fire is controlled by its own solenoid. Additionally, of the third solenoid provides redundancy for overseas markets as well as allowing the solenoid to control the lo fire independently from the pilot solenoid. A stroke adjustment feature is available to allow the user the ability to manually adjust the lo fire to their desired flow rate.
Regulation of the gas pressure is available with a top adjust or bottom adjust spring pressure regulator. The lo fire and main gas is regulated based on the user regulation setting. The regulator controls the gas pressure at the valve outlet by positioning the regulator poppet for selected throughput flow and pressure. This is achieved by the gave valve outlet pressure acting on the regulator diaphragm, which balances against the preset regulator spring. Adjustment of the spring compression determines the valve outlet pressure and the throughput flow rate.
The BASO BGF Hi/Lo (Two Stage) gas valve series is mainly used in the commercial cooking equipment industry. Although, it can be suited for any gas fired application that is requiring the control of lo fire to keep a constant and steady flow of gas to the burner and hi fire when high demand is required.
