The junction block addition allows for a high limit switch connection. It places the power unit of the pilot control in series with the limit switch and thermocouple. If the pilot burner flame is lost or a high limit switch occurs, the gas valve will immediately shut off. To be used in a variety of thermoelectric applications where a junction block connection is required, and with other standing pilot burner applications with thread-in bracket connection required.
