K17AJ Series thermocouples are designed to be used where a junction block connection is needed. This thermocouple series can be used with the BASO® brand or other thermoelectric type gas valves and standing pilot burners. If the pilot gas flame is lost or a high limit switch occurs, the gas valve will automatically shut-off.
